Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of conditions do you treat at Spicer Chiropractic?

We treat a wide variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, sciatica, herniated or bulging discs, joint pain (hip, knee, and ankle), carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ (jaw) issues, headaches and migraines, dizziness or vertigo, sports injuries, auto injuries, post-operative recovery, scar tissue issues, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, and more.

We offer manual chiropractic adjustments using techniques such as Diversified, SOT (Sacral-Occipital Technique), drop-table, and instrument-assisted adjustments, including full-spine and extremity adjustments (shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, feet, and TMJ). We also provide soft tissue therapies—such as trigger point therapy, Neural Reset Technique, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, and scar tissue work—along with cranial adjustments, posture and ergonomic evaluations, therapeutic exercises, and personalized rehabilitation plans.

Yes. We treat auto injuries and work with local attorneys to support your care and any associated legal or insurance claims. If you’re experiencing neck pain, headaches, dizziness, or other related symptoms after an accident, we encourage you to contact us so we can assess your condition and begin treatment.

We offer same-day appointments and free initial consultations. Treatment costs and insurance coverage may vary depending on your insurance plan or whether you choose to pay out of pocket. We recommend contacting our office directly so we can review your insurance benefits or discuss affordable payment options for those without insurance.

On your first visit, we will perform a thorough consultation and examination to understand your condition and needs. Based on that evaluation, we will recommend a personalized treatment plan, which may include adjustments, soft tissue work, posture and ergonomic guidance, and at-home exercises when appropriate. If chiropractic care isn’t suitable for your condition, we’ll let you know and may refer you to another specialist.

When performed by a licensed chiropractor—like at Spicer Chiropractic—adjustments are generally considered safe. Many patients feel immediate relief, while some may experience mild, short-term soreness (similar to post-workout muscle soreness), which is normal. We prioritize gentle, patient-specific care rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
